19 MAR. CAIRO – ARRIVAL
Arrive CAIRO AIRPORT at 1025H, meet and tour commence immediately starting in OLD CAIRO for visit at the HANGING CHURCH and COPTIC CHURCH
where it is believed that the HOLY FAMILY stayed after fleeing from Bethlehem for fear of Herod’s order of slaughtering infants under 3 years
(Matthew 2:13-16). Lunch en-route. Then visit to Papyrus Factory to discover how the first paper was made during
the ancient time. The proceed to the hotel for check in. Dinner and overnight in Cairo.
20 MAR. CAIRO
Hotel Breakfast. This full city tour includes visit to the Egyptian Museum, Pyramids, and Sphinx. Lunch en-route. Afternoon itinerary includes visit to Khan El Khalili Bazaar to find good bargains for souvenir items until evening. Then on Dinner cruise and be entertained by the Belly Dancer and enjoy watching the skilled “Men in Skirt” rendering his piece. Back to hotel in Cairo for overnight.
21 MAR. CAIRO – ST. CATHERINE (Mt. Sinai)
Hotel Breakfast. Check out for long drive towards St. Catherine passing by Moses Springs and the Suez Canal. Lunch en-route. Then continue drive to HOTEL in ST. CATHERINE for Check-in, Dinner and overnight.
22 MAR. ST. CATHERINE – DEAD SEA – JERUSALEM
Early morning on sun rise, begin to climb o Mt. Sinai the traditional site where
Moses received the Ten Commandments, back to Hotel for breakfast and
check out then Drive towards Taba Border for crossing into Israel via Eilat. After crossing, drive to the lowest spot-on earth, the Dead Sea. Then to Qumran for viewing the caves where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found inside a jar by a shepherd boy. Then to the oldest city in the world – Jericho, for visit Mount of Temptation where Jesus fasted for 40 days and tempted by the devil. Also visit Sycamore Tree where Jesus called Zacchaeus. Then on to Jerusalem for Dinner and overnight.
23 MAR. JERUSALEM
Breakfast in the hotel, early morning walk the traditional Way of the Cross
the 14 Stations of the Cross, and visit the Holy Sepulcher Church and the Empty Tomb of Jesus Christ. Proceed to visit Mt. of Olives, visit the Church of the Ascension, visit Pater Noster Church, the Dominos Flevit Church, where Jesus wept over Jerusalem shortly before the destruction of the second temple, then on continue to visit the Garden of Gethsemane where Jesus has been captured by the Romans after he has been betrayed by Judas, then on to Mt. Zion to visit the St. Peter in Galicuntu, then King David’s Tomb and the Upper Room (Last Supper Room), then to Dormition Abbey. Enter the Old City of Jerusalem from Dung
Gate, visit the Wailing Wall, onto the area of the Mosque built on Mt. Moriah (Temple Mount). Back to hotel for Dinner and overnight.
24 MAR. JERUSALEM – NAZARETH
Hotel Breakfast and check-out, then visit the Nativity Church the birthplace of Jesus Christ, and Milk Grotto and the Shepherd’s field, then onto Ein Karem, visit St John the Baptist Church and Church of Visitation. Continue drive via el Aviv & Jaffa the commercial capital of Israel then on to Jaffa to visit Peter’s Church, the House of Simon the Tanner, the Old City of Jaffa, and the old port. Then proceed to Haifa City and ascend to Mt. Carmel and enjoy a panoramic view over the Bay. Visit Stella Maris on top and the Cave of Elijah. Then on to the Hanging Gardens and view the Bahai’ Shrine. Then on to Cana, where Jesus did His first Miracle by changing water into wine. Then drive to Tiberias for dinner and overnight.
25 MAR. TIBERIAS & NAZARETH AREAS
Breakfast in the hotel and then proceed to Capernaum – believed to have been Jesus’ home and the center of his ministry, heal the sick, preaching in the synagogue and performed many of his miracles. Then head to Tabgha, visit the Church of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fish, then to the Church of St. Peter’s Primacy. Continue to Mt. of Beatitudes where Jesu delivered the Sermon on the Mount. Take a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee as Jesus used to do. St Peter’s fish lunch in a local restaurant. Visit to the Jordan River where Jesus was baptized in the river by John the Baptist (Mark 1:9-11). Drive up to Mount Tabor. Dinner and overnight in HOTEL in Nazareth.
26 MAR. NAZARETH – AMMAN
After Hotel Breakfast and Check-out, visit the impressive Basilica of Annunciation, St. Joseph Church – see the original workshop of St. Joseph and Home of the Holy Family in Nazareth. Continue drive to the border into Jordan. After crossing, will be met by the local guide, then drive to Jerash, a well preserve city of the Roman Empire. See the biblical land of Gilead with ancient ruins, temples, theaters, and plazas before check in at your Hotel in AMMAN for Dinner and overnight.
27 MAR. DAYTOUR TO PETRA
Breakfast in the hotel then on proceed to Petra, start the trip on horseback of to the Siq, the narrow canyon, and then walk 1.2 km till you reach the most beautiful monument: The Treasury. Among other monuments you will see are the Street of Facades, the Royal Tombs, Pharaoh’s Castle, the Amphitheater and the Monastery El Deir. Return to hotel in Amman for Dinner and overnight.
28 MAR. MT. NEBO – MADABA – CITADEL – Departure
Hotel Breakfast. Check out and then visit Madaba the Roman Byzantine town & Mt. Nebo where he was showed Land of Canaan (The Promise Land) which God has said, he will not enter, and he died buried in Moab. After Lunch en route, continue City Tour with visit to Amman Citadel, an archeological site in the capital city. Tour ends with dinner at local restaurant, then transfer to the airport for flight back to Manila.
